Chrysler employees should get ready for the big squeeze. Trust me. It is now all about the money, not building cars.

When the Germans bought Chrysler, it was because they wanted to gain a better foothold in North America. Contrary to popular and ignorant (mostly on the coasts) [Chrysler] WAS a very profitable company PRIOR to the German takeover. They had a strong minivan line as well as Jeep and a good set of mid-sized sedans. The Germans were the ones calling the shots….they are the ones that ran it into the ground. It was a bureaucratic, yet snobbish thing if you look at it.

Trust me....I worked at DCX under the Germans. They are not that disciplined, and they are quite elitist. Every German has to have a title and everyone demanded a special style of respect. I cannot begin to tell you how many times they fucked up our work when we had them “check” it over.
